Union Graduate College Accelerated MS in Mechanical Engineering
This Accelerated Master in Science degree program combines the strengths of the undergraduate curriculum at Union College with the Union Graduate College Master of Science in Engineering and Computer Science curriculum. The MS degree is typically awarded at the end of the fifth year of study. Accelerated students typically begin taking graduate courses in their senior year; however the bulk of the graduate course work is completed in the fifth year.

Students may apply to the accelerated program any time between sophomore year and end of fall term in the senior year of undergraduate study. Students may access Union Graduate College Online Application, or pick up the applications and related materials from the Union Graduate College Admissions Office in The Graduate Center.
Generally an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 is expected to be considered for admission.
A personal interview with the Dean of Engineering at Union Graduate College is required for admission.

Course Waivers
Union College students who are accepted into an accelerated MS in Engineering and Computer Science program may take up to two Computer Sciences graduate courses or three graduate Engineering courses, at no additional tuition. These courses count twice: as electives toward the undergraduate degree and toward the MS degree.
