The MS Computer Science Program
The Union Graduate School of Computer Science is dedicated to providing students with the advanced theoretical, practical, and professional knowledge needed to advance their careers in information technology.

A balanced approach of specialization according to the student’s career path, combined with exposure to multi-disciplinary perspectives, prepares graduates to thrive in the rapidly changing world of computer science.

Master of Science Degree in Computer Science focuses on covering expanded knowledge in the core areas of computational theory, programming languages, software systems, and hardware systems. Many computer science classes are held in the new high-technology classroom and laboratory facility, the F.W. Olin Center. This program has flexibility enabling course selection from both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Union Graduate College Computer Science faculty members conduct research in their areas of interests or engage in consulting regularly updating courses to sustain relevance in this rapidly changing field.

The MS Computer Science program will enable graduate students to:
  • Expand fundamentals of computational theory, programming languages, software systems, and hardware integration.
  • Explore the latest advances in information technology
  • Develop independent study and research programs to integrate your career interests into the changing world of information technology.
