Beginning Fall 2008, Union Graduate
College MBA students will have the opportunity to experience international
study at the IESEG School of Management in Lille, France. UGC has entered an exchange agreement with
IESEG whereby UGC MBA students can spend a term or an entire year at IESEG
School of Management. Coursework
completed at IESEG will transfer to UGC.
Students pay tuition to UGC and pay their own living expenses at Lille University.
This opportunity is available to UGC students who have completed at least one
trimester of courses at UGC. UGC will
host 2-4 Lille Graduate Management students in Schenectady
during the 2008-09 academic year!
IESEG School of
Management is located in Lille
France. IESEG’s
School of Management
was founded in 1964 within the Lille Catholic
University, France’s largest private university. Lille
is located about 1 hour from Paris,
40 minutes from Brussels, and about
1 hour and 40 minutes from London.
The IESEG Master of Science in Management program offers a
wide selection of graduate-level management courses, all of which are taught in
English. In addition to “traditional”
management courses such as Accounting, Marketing Management, Operations, IESEG
offers courses not currently available at UGC including (but not limited to):
- Change
Management
- Consolidation
- Cross-Cultural
Marketing
- Doing
Business in the New Europe
- Enterprise
Modeling
- Managing
Consultancy

Semester I and MSC Semester 2). Interested
students should contact Dean Mel Chudzik for
assistance selecting courses that will count toward the MBA at UGC.
